What to expect…

On this trip, we will head anywhere from 1 to 20 miles offshore - depending on the time of year, the fishing, and the weather. We are heading out into the Atlantic ocean so our potential species and fishing techniques can change a lot throughout the year. If you have specific questions regarding species or techniques, give us a call!

  • We are trolling beginning in ~May and ending in ~August. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later. We target Kingfish, Cobia, Sailfish, & a variety of others using live bait over the reefs & wrecks. This trip is different than a 4 hour because we often travel further offshore allowing us to target larger fish and other species. Sometimes even Mahi-Mahi!

  • A 6 hour bottom fishing trip is more traditional offshore bottom fishing compared to a 4 hour. We usually use heavier tackle targeting snapper, triggerfish, amberjack, and cobia

Species Description 〰️

  • This hard fighting, fast fish is our main target May - August. The typical 6 - 12 lb fish we catch on charters are great grilled or fried. The larger ones are best smoked!

  • Amber Jack and Almaco Jack can be caught year round. We catch most of them in the fall, winter, and spring. These fish are hard fighting, fun to catch, and excellent on the table!

  • One of the hardest fighting fish out there. We catch these year-round with peak times of June - August

  • We catch loads of red snapper offshore. Unfortunately, they are out of season nearly year round. However, we catch vermillion snapper, lane snapper, mutton snapper, and mangrove snapper year-round

  • The very best eating fish that we catch! This is best in the early spring time for us. These fish are smaller but delicious!

  • Our favorite! The most exciting fish we catch does not always come easily. We target these May - August using live baits
